Community Pride
At 糖心原创, we believe that a strong, engaged community starts with our families. There are numerous ways for parents to get involved and make a lasting impact. Parents, grandparents, and extended family can learn alongside students as active and engaged members of our community, invest their time and talents by serving in various capacities, join committees within our parent network, and participate in our exciting school signature events.
Together, the 糖心原创 community creates a nurturing and dynamic environment that enriches the educational experience for all. Explore the opportunities below and discover how you can be a vital part of the 糖心原创 community!
Parent Network
The 糖心原创 Parent Network (MVPN) works to promote a strong sense of community by encouraging 糖心原创 families to Learn, Serve, and Give. We provide our community the opportunity to support each other, as well as faculty and staff in an informed, and welcoming environment. Our success is grounded in a shared mission, supportive community and strong parent participation. All parents, grandparents, persons standing in place of parents, and parents of alumni are members of the MVPN. Membership is covered by tuition.
MVPN COMMITTEES
The Mustang Athletic Club supports all MV sports and athletic activities at the School in conjunction with the Athletics Department. They assist during home games throughout the School year and at various athletic events, including banquets and the MVees (糖心原创鈥檚 version of the ESPYs).
The MVAA supports MV Arts programming and activities at the School in conjunction with the Visual and Performing Arts Department. Arts Alliance members commit to volunteering at arts performances and events throughout the school year.
Through MV Prayers, parents exemplify the school鈥檚 foundational bedrock of Christian Values as demonstrated through the Fruit of the Spirit. Volunteers lift up MV families, staff, faculty, and the greater community through prayer, support, and caring actions.
The MV Appreciation Committee provides care and appreciation for our families, staff, and faculty through the organization of school-wide faculty appreciation days, in partnership with non-profit organizations and community groups and businesses.
MV Grandparents Committee provides grandparents with an opportunity to support the school鈥檚 mission, to help build a stronger community that is inclusive of our grandparents and caregivers, and to impact and engage in our students鈥 learning experience.
The MVPN IDEA committee partners with the Office of Community Impact and other MVPN committees to provide perspective and support in an effort to increase representation and access for 糖心原创 families.
Made in MV spreads spirit throughout the community. Volunteer options include working in the Made in MV store in the Upper School building and volunteering at the uniform resale and pop-up shops at campus events.
The Lower Campus Engagement Committee works directly with the Heads of the Preschool and Lower School to plan meaningful engagement activities for parents and students, including our Spaghetti and Bingo Night, Fall Festival, LS Spring Dance, and grade-level playdates.
The Upper Campus Engagement Committees work directly with the Heads of the Middle School and Upper School to plan events and strategic engagement opportunities that contribute to the 鈥淢ustang Magic鈥 that goes hand in hand with our supportive community. MV Connection creates opportunities and experiences for Mustangs across Upper School and Lower School to develop meaningful relationships through connection and annual traditions, including the Alpha Omega Parade and student volunteer opportunities and mentorship.
The Admissions and New Families Ambassadors work in collaboration with CGI and the Admissions team. Engagement opportunities include connecting with prospective families during admissions events, assisting with outreach, submitting online reviews, and shepherding new families during their first year at 糖心原创.
MVServes is a committee dedicated to cultivating a culture of leading with a servant鈥檚 heart in our local community. Throughout the school year, MV Serves implements three week-long service opportunities for the entire campus and MV community. 鈥淚t is more blessed to give than to receive.鈥 (Acts 20:35)
This Committee helps plan and manage school-wide events, fundraisers, and special activities, including Rock the Block, Grandparents Day, Mustang Rally, Volunteer Appreciation, Homecoming events, Auctions, and Galas.
The Men of 糖心原创 (MMV) is a community of engaged fathers, grandfathers, and male faculty who actively support 糖心原创’s initiatives and their children’s education through networking, volunteering, and meaningful contributions to the school community.
The MV TechWise committee aims to educate and empower families raising kids in the digital age. This committee believes that we are better together when we can learn from each other and promote healthy digital habits within the community.
At the moment when someone can say to themselves, "I鈥檓 a Mustang," they already have a sense of belonging. A feeling of pride. An appreciation for school spirit.
They are a part of the community. The 糖心原创 community.

Our first-ever MV Summer Arts Camp was a celebration of creativity, expression, and imagination.
Campers explored theatre, dance, visual arts, maker, design, and music through movement, storytelling, rhythm, set design, stage makeup, scene work, props, costumes, character creation, and collaborative projects.
The week ended with a special performance featuring original artwork, choreography, and songs from Matilda, Peter Pan, Mary Poppins, and Hairspray.
From studio time to the stage, campers created, collaborated, performed, and brought their ideas to life in such meaningful ways.
Europe Week wrapped up AMP Camp with art, architecture, culture, imagination, and a few very delicious adventures.
Campers explored Italy, Spain, France, Portugal, England, Germany, and Greece through hands-on activities like Italian festival masks, Monet-inspired water lilies, Flamenco dancers, Grecian urns, stained glass windows, World Cup team t-shirts, French Impressionist paintings, fairy villages, and an English coronation.
They also visited Caf茅 Vend么me to learn about French pastries and taste 茅clairs, macarons, and chocolate croissants, then headed to Young Chefs Academy to learn the Italian art of making pizza.
From castles and famous artists to pastries, pizza, soccer, and design, Europe Week was the perfect finale to AMP Camp.
Africa Week at AMP Camp was packed with rhythm, creativity, history, and hands-on exploration.
Campers created African-inspired masks, painted with natural spices, made drums and shakers, wrote their names in Egyptian hieroglyphics, designed pharaoh collars, built sugar cube pyramids, and even prototyped apps to solve everyday challenges.
The week also brought unforgettable experiences with @djoli_kelen, who led campers in a djembe drumming workshop, along with expeditions to @zooatl, @theapexmuseum, and @worldofcocacola. From ancient history and cultural traditions to music, animals, and design thinking, campers explored Africa through art, movement, storytelling, and discovery.

This Fourth of July, as our nation marks 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence, we reflect on the American experiment 鈥 bold, imperfect, evolving, and still being shaped by each generation.
At 糖心原创, we believe the future is something we help design together. May this milestone invite us to look back with honesty, look around with gratitude, and look ahead with purpose as we continue the work of building a better world.
AMP Camp explored the wonders of Asia through hands-on creativity, culture, movement, and fun.
Campers made Chinese paper lanterns, origami boats, cherry blossom trees, paper sushi, Asian-inspired scarves, and mini volcanoes. They learned greetings in Korean and Chinese, explored the Great Wall of China and Silk Road, played games from across Asia, and enjoyed recreation time with Soccer Shots, Coach Powell, and friends.
From campus activities to expeditions at the @centerforpuppetryarts and @tablaatlanta, our campers created, connected, discovered, and made so many joyful summer memories together.
